FOF Observation #10

The "FOF Observations" are a series of "Perpetual Posts" where I will share with you, my readers, short little "one line" observations that I have made (or will be making) on being the father of a large family. You will be able to access each of the posts in a cohesive list by clicking on the "FOF Observations" link in the "Perpetual Posts" group on the sidebar.

After cleaning the bathroom up this afternoon, I came across a most curious coincidental "collection".

It would seem that one (or both) of my daughters have been stashing "princess arms" in a cubby in the bathroom.
Should I be worried that I may be raising a serial collector of severed arms?

What is even more worrisome... Could it be one of the boys??

Thankfully, none of the kids have asked me for some fava beans with a nice chianti,
or asked me to rub lotion on "it's" skin....

  1. Have you, by chance, been letting your kids watch Showtime's "Dexter"?

This is possibly one of your funniest posts! I shared it with CareerMom, who shared how her little sister and her friend, used to have "Torture Camps" for their dolls. Mentioned something about hanging them from the ceiling fan in a noose...

Today, one works for a pharma company and the other does something similarly innocuous. I think you're OK.

  2. I think I saw something like this on Criminal Minds. It was the one where the children started off collecting arms and legs then... ah I'm sure they won't end up serial killers.. but glad your not my neighbors just incase.

  3. I'm sorry. I'm laughing too hard to write a coherent comment.

  4. Two lefties and a right... Perhaps they are stockpiling the components to construct a Hindu God!

  5. I would have left the 'collection' in place and just set up surveillance to see if it continued to grow and who was the culprit. Have you found the rest of the bodies yet?

  6. I'm curious as to what kind of doll has blueish arms?

  7. Hey, yeah! dad stuff is right! What are you letting your kids play with, anyway?
