Rest Easy...

For all those of you sitting on the edge of your seats, waiting to see if the "Father of Five" would be (falsely) arrested for warrants associated with my "driving without a motorcycle endorsement", and "failure to produce proof of insurance" tickets - you can all rest easy...

Said tickets are now officially voided, as is my opportunity to experience an arrest and booking (bucket list item) without the ramifications of having to actually violate the law to do so.
Oh well... Maybe next time...

Though I cannot give you the arrest experience, I have become pretty adept at performing many other unpleasant routines that incarcerated people must go through and would be happy to give you that experience.

  2. Am thinking that a night in the slammer would be an awesome end to a retirement party!

  3. Here's another opportunity to spend the night in jail:

HILLSBORO, Mo. -- Want to spend a night in jail? And how about paying for the privilege? The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department in eastern Missouri has come up with a novel way to pay for mattresses at a new jail addition.
Officials are offering the public a chance to stay overnight on July 31 at the recently finished addition. For $50 a person or $90 a couple, people can tour the new facility, learn more about jail, and stay overnight. They'll receive Jefferson County "bed and breakfast" T-shirts, snacks -- and souvenir mug shots.
Also included is a "get out of jail free" card. Those who want to leave early have to give another $10. Proceeds benefit the county's jail maintenance fund.

  4. What a totally cool idea! I'd be ALL OVER THAT!
