One of life's simple pleasure: New Socks.
One of my simple pleasures in life is donning a pair of "Brand New" socks for the very first time. Oooo... They are so soft, and snug...
Oh yeah. Nothing beats a pair of new socks, unless it's a pair of new socks JUST OUT OF THE DRYER. On a cold day. When your feet are frozen ice-block-feet. :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. If I was rich I would were socks only once then donate them to the sockless children of Africa.
ReplyDeleteEvery year I look forward to my Christmas present from Lady Di's grandma Ollie. A pack of tube socks per year for the last 10 years or so. She gets me the thick warm ones and they get me all through winter.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention new socks. My wife just picked up 12 new pair for me yesterday. Boy, what a difference. 3 cheers for Fruit of the Loom.
ReplyDeleteRoger on the new socks!
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, I need new socks for my work boots, my current ones are starting to bunch up at the bottom of my boot and I totally HATE that!
I do like me some new socks! Hmmm, I reckon!
