A co-worker and I were discussing life this morning.
During our discussion a famous quote was mentioned. The quote was too good not to share.
"Youth and skill are no match for old age and treachery."
I tried researching who to give credit to for such poignant wisdom, but as of now, I have been unable to.
I cannot find the source, let alone the headwaters for this quote. It seems there are several versions out and about.
ReplyDeleteYouth and skill are no match for age and experience.
Age and experience will always overcome youth and skill.
How about
Youth and looks are no match for an experienced lover
Youth and money are no match for an experienced lover
The last one may have a problem if there is a LOT of money. Cash wins.
I have no money and by most definitions, I am "middle aged" . . . sigh
